The Bridge Consortium supports the exceptional liberal arts education provided by our parent institutions. Through collaborative work, shared resources, and combined expertise, we uphold the missions and goals of the St. Olaf Libraries and Carleton’s Gould Library. We seek to enhance, expand, and ease access to our materials and services to answer the curricular and research needs of our students, faculty, and staff. Working together in an atmosphere of cooperation and trust, we support excellence in teaching, learning, and research while celebrating the distinctive character that makes each library an integral part of its own unique institution.
Catalyst is our new library discovery interface, launched in Summer 2016. You’ll find lots of helpful information on our Introducing Catalyst blog.
Carleton and St. Olaf also subscribe to a variety of other databases to help you with your research projects. You are welcome to visit the libraries at either school to use a database that your college does not provide access to. Please contact us if you need further information.
Materials in Catalyst can be requested using the “Request” link at the top of the list of items available. Please note that you need to sign in with your campus username/password to see this option.
If you can’t find the title you want in Catalyst, you should request it via Interlibrary Loan. We will try to find another library that can lend us the item.
